What is Americanism

One of American Legion Post 111’s primary goals is to teach Americanism to the young Americans in the Conway SC area. As such we promote youth programs such as American Legion baseball, Palmetto Boys State, an annual Oratorical Competition, and the Nathan Wolf Law Cadet Academy.

Americanism is the essential combination of Freedom, Justice, Individual Rights, and Responsibilities that define us and what we stand for. Americanism is also Pride in Country, expressed without reservation, and the duty Legionnaires have in imparting patriotic values to new generations.
