Post 111 Veterans Day Banquet

Honor GuardThe ParticipantsOur 2018 banquet committee hasn’t been selected yet. However, as we look at the calendar for November 2018, we project that our banquet this year will most likely be held Monday, November 12, 2018 (our regular meeting night). In the past, our banquet costs have exceeded our banquet income but we made a profit this past year (2017). Going forward, we want to be sure that the banquet is self-supporting. This is achievable as long as you, our Legionnaires of Post 111 participate. Plan now to attend this auspicious event in the life of Horry Post 111.

The crowd againThe Post is looking for volunteers to serve on this year’s banquet committee. Please email the Post Commander if you would be willing to participate. The banquet is an important event in the life of the Post in order to celebrate the sacrifices and accomplishments of our Veterans as a whole and our individual Legionnaires. During our banquet we celebrate the lives of those that have passed on to Post Everlasting. We also celebrate with their spouses whom we call our "Blue Star Widows".

We've posted a video of our 2015 Veterans Day Banquet here and hope that will enjoy it.
